Youth Orchestra Spring Concert

Closing out the 2014/15 season, the students of the Oakland Symphony Youth Orchestra perform one of Brahms’ most important works. The concert opens with the winner of a composers’ competition who will write for the brass and percussion students in the orchestra.

Youth Orchestra Winter Concert

The Oakland Symphony Youth Orchestra presents its second concert of the season FREE at the beautiful San Leandro High School Performing Arts Center. The concert features Youth Orchestra violin student Jonathan Chen, co-winner of the Concerto Competition last season, in his prize-winning performance of Wieniawski’s Violin Concerto No. 2.
