MUSE In Action


The MUSE Orchestra is the Oakland Symphony’s rookie orchestra, a training ground for ensemble skills. MUSE Students and Teaching Artists from the Symphony perform side by side in Beethoven’s Ode To Joy, a musical homage to peace, harmony, and celebration among all peoples.

This video was made for you by Quentin Collins, a cellist in the MUSE Orchestra. When asked if he was feeling good about the progress in playing the cello, he shared, “I have done singing before but cello and MUSE Orchestra feels like I have found my real thing.”
