Tell all the teachers you know about the return of the
Oakland Symphony’s Young People’s Concert!

.
This is a school day field trip intended to introduce Bay Area K-8 students to orchestral music. This no cost concert is sure to be a fun event and we welcome students from across the Bay Area to join us at the historic Paramount Theater in Oakland at 9:30am and 11:00am on Wednesday, March 22nd 2023.

“Adventures in music with Dawn Harms and the Oakland Symphony” conducted by Omid Zoufonoun.

Come spend a morning with Dawn and Symphony, as Dawn takes you on a musical journey, like on a time machine, starting at the time of the Kings and Queens. From Bach to the Orange Blossom Special…….the children will squeal with delight, as she brings her hilarious cast of characters to play for the audience!

Several lucky students will get to come up on stage and play the violin for first time, and many others will get to come up and compose!

It’s so entertaining, you don’t even know that you are being educated and having fun all at the same time!
