Changyong Shin

Changyong Shin is the First Prize winner of the 2018 Gina Bachauer International Artist Piano Competition, 2017 Seoul International Piano Competition, and  2016 Hilton Head International Piano Competition. 

Shin has performed his debut recital at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Salle Cortot Hall in Paris, Seoul Art Center, Lotte Concert Hall in Korea, Bari in Italy among others. He has collaborated with many orchestras including Utah Symphony, Hilton Head Symphony, Sendai Philharmonic, KBS Symphony. He appeared in the Evelyn Miller Young Pianists Series, the Green Lake Festival of Music, WQXR Greene Space,  Zygmunt Zaleski Festival in Paris among others. Mr. Shin also released two albums with Steinway & Sons label.

Shin has received his Bachelor of Music from the Curtis Institute of Music,  earned a Master’s degree in Music from The Juilliard School with a full scholarship. Recently, he is pursuing his Artist Diploma program at The Juilliard School.
