Oakland Symphony Day is May 18!

Oakland Symphony Day is a brand new tradition this spring – an entire day celebrating the Oakland Symphony family! You’ll hear stories of community-responsive programs and transformational teaching and you can share your own throughout the day, both online and in-person at The Artist’s Struggle.

These stories aren’t possible without you! We’re also using Oakland Symphony Day to raise funds to support powerful artists, amazing musicians, and dedicated students – the first $20,000 you donate will be matched with $20,000 for education.

Looking for Fundraising Night? You found it! Fundraising Night, our annual tradition raising funds during a spring concert to support all of the Symphony’s artistic and education programs, is now part of Oakland Symphony Day. You guessed it – that means our hat-wearing volunteers will be out in full force at the concert on May 18, sharing stories and encouraging your generosity.

So, celebrate with us! Make a pledge, make a gift, read stories on Facebook starting May 4, check out our musician takeover of the Symphony’s Instagram account on May 17, and join us at the concert.

We can’t wait to share this special day with you!
