William Lawley

William Lawley performed with the San Francisco Opera Chorus in Wagner’s Götterdämmerung during the summer of 2018. Solo roles include Nobody in Lucinda y Las Flores de La Nochebuena, Melisso in Handel’s Alcina, Ben Upthegrove in Menotti’s The Telephone, and Uberto in an English adapted version of Pergolesi’s La serva padrona. He also has previously performed as a vocalist with San Francisco Choral Artists.

Lawley performed in musicals with numerous theaters in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex before moving to the Bay Area. During the summer of 2006, he had the unique opportunity of working at the Barn Theatre in Augusta, Michigan, one of the first professional equity summer stock theaters.  He is also a music educator and teaches voice and piano throughout the East Bay.
