Oakland Symphony in your neighborhood

You may have noticed that Oakland Symphony is out in the community more often recently with appearances at Art + Soul, Eat Real Festival at Jack London Square, and more recently Rockridge Out and About. We have taken the show on the road with our Instrument Petting Zoo and performances from an Oakland Symphony ensemble. Be on the lookout for us in your neighborhood and the festivals that you love to attend.

Our Instrument Petting Zoo is your chance to get your hands on various instruments and play them including trombones, trumpets, violins, a cello, flute and more! Learn how to get some sound of the instruments from our musicians and staff at each festival.
