IRA
If you are age 70½ or older, you can take advantage of a simple way to give to the Oakland Symphony and receive tax benefits in return. You can give up to $100,000 in IRA assets to a qualified charitable organization. The IRA charitable rollover is tax-free and not included in a donor’s adjusted gross income.
