In the second session of the 2016 Summer Sing-Ins, Dr. Lynne Morrow will conduct Bruckner’s Te Deum and Stravinksy’s Mass.
Bruckner wrote his Te Deum while he was writing his 6th and 7th symphonies. Brahms and Mahler greatly admired this sacred work. The composer himself called the work “the pride of his life.”
