“Love is All” Concert
Local Musician Tad Worku and the Oakland East Bay Symphony Strings partner for “Love is All” Concert.
Concert to benefit free health fairs for low-income community members; hosted by Pacific Union College.
Bay Area singer/songwriter Tad Worku and the Oakland East Bay Symphony are partnering for a unique collaboration. Tad gained a name for himself after performing multiple sold out shows at Yoshi’s San Francisco and also was named the Yoshi’s Spotlight Artist of the month.
Symphony Music Director and Conductor Michael Morgan worked closely with Tad to adapt his unique brand of music for performance by the full string section of the Oakland East Bay Symphony. Tad will also be accompanied on stage by his incredibly talented band led by Dave Jackson, current music director and keyboardist for Grammy and Golden Globe Award winner, Jennifer Hudson.
Tad’s original compositions defy genre categorization, incorporating elements of many different musical styles. His songs incorporate strong Christian themes, exploring Tad’s personal journey to find meaning and purpose both in his musical career and his service to the community.
The “Love is All” concert and free clinic on February 28th will be the beginning of an exciting journey that Tad hopes will help answer a question that’s deeply important to him – What would it look like if we could truly live out the Gospel?
[Please note: This concert is being produced and managed by Pacific Union College. We are grateful to Tad Worku for engaging the Oakland East Bay Symphony in this performance.]
