Dear Oakland,

We’ve been proud to be your symphony since 1933. Since the 30s, a lot has happened! You’ve experienced some of the best parts and we want to share even more.

Join us at Chromatic – The 2016 Oakland Symphony Gala on Saturday, November 5 under the beautiful dome of downtown Oakland’s Rotunda Building as we tell five stories of our organization and our city:

unnamedChromatic is a celebration of these stories, felt through our music, and tasted through our cuisine, enhanced with plenty of spirit(s). The night features jazz, big band, and classical selections from all the Oakland Symphony programs above – from the professional Oakland Symphony to the students of our elementary school MUSE Orchestra.

Not only will you immerse yourself in our story. This year’s auction is an exciting one, with quintessentially Bay Area items. Highlights include dinner with Greg Errico and Jerry Martini, two founding members of Sly & The Family Stone, a chartered sail of the Bay, and a VIP parking spot in front of the Paramount, as well as an opportunity to take the stage and conduct the full Oakland Symphony!

Thank you for allowing Oakland Symphony to be your symphony.
We hope we see you at the Rotunda.

Sincerely,
