Auditions for the 2025-2026 season will be August 27, 2025 in person.

Audition Requirements

1)      Attend at least one OSC Summer Sing-in or Open Rehearsals prior to auditioning

2)  Prepare 2 pieces as directed below

  • 2nd piece (excerpt) that best demonstrates your vocal range, dynamic, and diction abilities
    1. You may sing any song excerpt of your choice which best shows the highs and lows of your vocal range. Your recording should also demonstrate your ability to sing dynamics (soft and loud) with good pronunciation.
    2. Please prepare approximately one minute only of singing. You do not have to prepare a full song but rather a short excerpt of a piece (a verse and chorus of a pop song, or just the main theme from an art song below would be fine)

3)      Sign up for an audition date.

Rehearsals

Wednesdays, 7:15 pm to 9:45 pm

Dress Rehearsals: Information about dress rehearsals, fall and spring Chorus retreats, and other required Chorus activities are provided in the Chorus calendar at the beginning of each season.
