In the sixth and final session of the 2016 Summer Sing-Ins, William Sauerland will conduct Purcell’s Come Ye Sons of Art and Schubert’s Mass No. 2.

Come Ye Sons of Art, also known as Ode for Queen Mary’s birthday, is the last musical ode written by Henry Purcell in 1694, in honor of the Queen’s birthday.

Schubert’s Mass in G is one of his popular short masses. He composed this six-movement work in one week.
