Open House – Get to know OSYO

This year, OSYO opens its doors for three weekends, allowing prospective families a chance to experience firsthand what makes our programs so special. You’re invited to join us for OSYO’s 2026 Open House on any one (or more) of the dates below. The event includes an afternoon of open rehearsals, Q&A sessions, and the opportunity to sign up to play along with our flagship Youth Orchestra. Open House gives visitors a chance to get to know our programs and become familiar with our spaces, as well as experience our conductor and students at work.

Drop in anytime during these hours

3:00 – 3:30 Sectionals (observation only)
3:30 – 3:50 Q&A (students on break)
4:00 – 6:00 Rehearsal (observe or play along) + More Q&A

Sign up to play along with the Youth Orchestra, attend the Q&A session about the OSYO experience, or just stop in and observe a rehearsal.

Limited Seating: Due to space constraints, seating for guests may be limited.

To register for an audition, please complete the Audition Application. There is a non-refundable $35 application fee. Candidates auditioning on multiple instruments must complete a new audition application for each instrument and pay the non-refundable fee. Payments are processed through PayPal.

Note: While this application form allows users to save and return to the form within 30 days, entries are not stored in the system until the application is paid.

Financial circumstances should not be a barrier to joining OSYO. We offer need-based aid for all program costs, including audition fee waivers. To request a free application or discuss financial assistance, please contact our office directly.
