Tim Rosser and Charlie Sohne have won the San Diego Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Original Score, the Jonathan Larson Award and ASCAP’s Mary Rodgers/Lorenz Hart Award. Their musical, The Boy Who Danced on Air, premiered at Diversionary Theatre in San Diego and Off-Broadway at the Abingdon Theater. Their television pilot, Truth Slash Fiction, won best comedy at SeriesFest and ITVFest, and is currently optioned by Lionsgate Television. They were residents at Yale’s Institute for Music Theatre, Dramatists Guild Fellows, members of the Civilians’ R&D Group and writers in the Rhinebeck Writers Retreat and ASCAP’s Johnny Mercer Songwriters Project. Concerts: 54 Below, Symphony Space, Birdland, Contemporary Classics at Seattle Rep, Cutting Edge Composers at Joe’s Pub, ALNM at Rockwell in LA, Above The Arts in London, a sold out show at Broadway au Carré in Paris, and the Kennedy Center. They wrote India.Arie’s single, High Above.
