T Sisters

Oakland’s T Sisters tap into a tradition that hails from folk’s deepest rootssibling harmony. Distinguished by soaring harmonies, catchy melodies and potent lyricism, the T Sisters’ sound represents a continuum of music: from traditional to pop influences, moments of breathtaking a cappella to swells of energetic indie Americana. The T Sisters first came to national recognition with a performance on Garrison Keiller’s A Prairie Home Companion and a rendition of the national anthem at a San Francisco Giants game. Since 2014, they have been touring extensively around the country in support of their own music, as well as in support of such nationally known acts as Amos Lee and the Wood Brothers.
