J. Raymond Meyers

Tenor J. Raymond Meyers has sung with the opera companies of San Francisco, Portland, Anchorage, Tampa, Spokane, Grand Rapids, Utah Festival, Toledo and many others. He played the opera singer in the Oscar winning movie Milk, and recently, Andres in Wozzeck with Opera Parallèle, tenor soloist in West Side Story Suite with the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, Carmina Burana with the Kalamazoo Symphony and Symphony Silicon Valley, Lippo in Street Scene and the Governor in Candide with Oakland Symphony, Howard Boucher in Dead Man Walking with Opera Paralèlle,  the Prince/Marquis in Lulu with West Edge Opera, and Canio in I Pagliacci with Pocket Opera in May 2016. This past February, 2017, he just finished singing three roles in West Edge Opera’s Snapshot Opera Festival, featuring new works by NorCal composers.
