Daniel Werth

Daniel Werth was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1998. Starting piano performance study at the age of six, Werth began to develop a great interest in composition, and eventually switched to studying composition full-time with UNLV’s Distinguished Professor of Composition, Virko Baley, in 2014. Having graduated from high school in 2016, Werth matriculated at the University of California, Berkeley, where he studies Russian History and Music. Werth’s style is influenced by Dmitri Shostakovich, Gustav Mahler, Arnold Schoenberg, and Sergei Prokofiev, and he draws great inspiration from his Russian roots.
