Caroline Stevens is an accomplished violinist from Rohnert Park whose musical journey began at age four. She has studied with Melanie Webster, Chen Zhao, and Fabiola Kim, and members of the Cavani and Alexander Quartets. She currently studies at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College, where she performs regularly as a soloist and chamber musician. Earlier in her training, Caroline was a principal member of both the Intermediate and Advanced Orchestras of the Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Ensembles during the 2022–23 and 2023–24 seasons, as well as a member of Santa Rosa’s Young People’s Chamber Orchestra.

Caroline has performed with the Oakland Symphony Youth Orchestra for two entire seasons and currently serves as concertmistress. This summer, she attended Sounding Point Academy at the Colburn School, Center Stage Strings at the University of Michigan, and the Pacific Crest Music Festival. At Pacific Crest Music Festival, she performed as second violinist in both a string quartet and a clarinet quintet alongside Bachelor’s and Master’s students from UCLA, Eastman, Juilliard, and NEC.

A junior at Technology High School in Rohnert Park, Caroline brings the same curiosity and creativity that fuel her musical pursuits to her academic interests. She has a particular interest in history and visual art and regularly shares her love of music by performing for students, teachers, and staff at her school, informing them of the music’s important history and relevance. Caroline hopes to continue her studies in violin performance in college, with a particular interest in solo performance, chamber music, and the ways music has changed people and history over time.
