Adebiyi Ojutiku
actor/narrator
Born in Nigeria and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, Adebiyi Ojutiku is an actor whose passion for storytelling was ignited early on by the epic narratives of films like “Gladiator”, “300”, “Ben-Hur”, and “The Ten Commandments” as well as timeless classics such as “The Sound of Music”, “What’s Happening!”, and “Sanford and Son”. Raised by Nigerian immigrant parents who came to the U.S. in pursuit of greater opportunity, Adebiyi was brought up in a home rooted in faith, discipline, and devotion to God. These values continue to guide his life and creative work.
Adebiyi’s father, a devoted Christian and strong role model, passed away in 2021. Before his passing, Adebiyi made him a promise: that he would not give up on pursuing his dream. That promise fuels his commitment to the craft and his dedication to telling impactful, purpose-driven stories.
Adebiyi’s creative journey spans theater, sketch, and screen, with a gifted wide range for sitcom-style comedy and emotionally grounded characters. He has appeared in several independent films as well as featured roles in Tyler Perry’s “Sistas” and Hulu’s “Tell Me Lies”. He also stars as a leading character in “Falling for the Manny”, now streaming on major platforms.
Dedicated to growth, Adebiyi has trained at the Identity School of Acting in Los Angeles, studied the ActTrue method with Marc Durso (with a focus on Uta Hagen’s techniques), and is currently honing his comedic and improvisational skills at the iconic Groundlings School. His love for live performance and instinct for character-driven humor shines through in both his dramatic and comedic work.
Outside of acting, Adebiyi holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Human Resources, and works professionally in that field alongside his creative pursuits. His work as an artist is rooted in authenticity, faith, and a heartfelt desire to inspire others through stories that resonate, whether on stage, screen, or anywhere in between.
